The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) is a department of the Government of the United Kingdom. FCO uses its overseas aid budget to support and deliver the 4 strategic objectives of the UK government’s 2015 Aid Strategy:

  1. strengthening global peace, security and governance
  2. strengthening resilience and response to crises
  3. promoting global prosperity
  4. tackling extreme poverty and helping the world’s most vulnerable.
