Finn Church Aid is Finland’s largest international aid organisation. We are a member in the international ACT Network for Christian aid organisations. We work to guarantee the basic necessities in life also to the poorest people in the world and we campaign for human dignity and justice.
We are committed to promoting the international Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS) principles in our work and we received the CHS Certificate as the first organisation in Finland. We are a member of CHS Alliance. We apply the FCA Safeguarding Policy to all employment relationships. It consists of procedures and practices to protect the more vulnerable party, to prevent abuse and to intervene in case of any staff malpractice.
As an employer, Finn Church Aid strives to develop the skills of the employees systematically and in various ways. Through constant development we aim to improve the staff knowledge and transferable skills to work anywhere in the world. We encourage the people who have participated in trainings to share what they have learned to their colleagues in different channels. Best practices are used to develop activities and new innovations. We aim to increase workplace well-being and to ensure the flow of activities with good leadership and knowledge development.
We offer varied, independent and responsible tasks in an international environment. All are vacancies are announced online and they are open for all applicants. This includes university internship positions and short-term employments. Annually we recruit dozens of experts to interesting positions in our offices around the world, which is why unfortunately we are unable to welcome open applications.
