Finn Church Aid (FCA) is Finland’s largest international aid organisation and a member of the global ACT Alliance network for Christian aid organisations. We work to guarantee the basic necessities in life to the world’s most vulnerable people and advocate for human dignity and justice.
We are certified against the international Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS) and committed to promoting the CHS principles in our work by applying the FCA Safeguarding Policy to all employee relationships. The policy consists of procedures and practices that protect the more vulnerable party, prevent abuse and intervene in case of any staff malpractice.
As an employer, we systematically strive to develop the skills of our employees in various ways. Through constant development, we aim to improve the staff’s knowledge and transferable skills to work anywhere in the world. We encourage the people who have participated in training to share what they have learned with their colleagues in different internal channels. The best practices are used to develop activities and innovations. We aim to increase workplace well-being and ensure the flow of activities with good leadership and knowledge development.
We offer varied, independent and responsible tasks in an international environment. All our vacancies are announced online, and they are open to all applicants. This includes university internship positions and short-term employments. Annually, we recruit dozens of experts to interesting positions in our offices worldwide, and we are unfortunately unable to welcome any open applications.
Finn Church Aid does not offer summer internships.
