Since violence re-erupted in Bangui in the Central African Republic on 26 September, the security situation in the country has quickly deteriorated, and the number of IDPs in Bangui is estimated as high as 65,000.
As the humanitarian situation keeps worsening, deliberate attacks are carried out against humanitarian organisations and tensions are rising outside the capital city of Bangui, 19 organisations operating in the Central African Republic have issued the following statement:
